My Disney CRP application Journey

My Disney CRP application journey you could say started back in 1999. This was when I had my first visit to Walt Disney World in Florida, back when I was 6 years old (naww!). This trip certainly ignited my Disney passion! I was fortunate enough to revisit Walt Disney World in 2008 and this is when I first discovered about the CRP programme. I asked my Dad to ask one of the cast members (A Disney Employee) how do you go about working at Walt Disney World? She informed me about the company 'Yummy Jobs' and I placed a mental note so I could research the company further when I returned from my holiday.

Now being 15 at the time this was obviously going to be a future plan, as I wanted to go to college and get a degree first! (Also worth noting here that you must be 18 years of age to apply for the Cultural Representative Program).

Then to cut a very long story short, I chose to apply in the Summer of 2013 and got rejected at the application stage :(. I was absolutely gutted. But being a strong believer in the saying 'everything happens for a reason' I decided maybe the time wasn't right and to try again next year, and focus back on my University studies and getting the best degree I could. Fast forward to July of 2014, having recently graduated I thought now is the perfect time to apply. So I did and as they say the rest is history and here I am at time of writing this 160 days until I start my dream job at the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH! I feel so blessed and urge people to never give up on your dreams as one day you might just achieve it :)!
